Your first workspace.

Before you start

• Check Downloads for a verified installer for your operating system. A test build is not a public release.
• Install and authenticate the coding CLI you plan to use. Provider subscriptions and API usage are separate.
• Choose a project folder you own and can safely edit. Keep changes under version control.

Connect your OverMCP account

If checkout or public downloads are not yet available, use the browser demo to explore the interface. Creating an account does not start a paid subscription.

1. Create an account or sign in on the website.
2. Open the desktop app and choose Log in.
3. Compare the connection code in the browser with the one in your app, then approve your connection.
4. Return to the app. Packaged desktop access requires an eligible active Pro subscription.

Run a first task

1. Switch to Code and add a workspace using your project folder.
2. Open a coding-agent pane and select the intended provider account.
3. Ask for a small change with a clear finish line. For example: “Explain the failing test, make the smallest fix, and show the diff.”
4. Inspect changed files and terminal output. Run the relevant checks before accepting the result.
