Start a conversation
Choose Chat for a focused conversation. Select the provider and account you intend to use, add relevant context, and write your request. Your OverMCP account and the selected coding-provider account serve different purposes.
Attach only what helps
Give the agent the files or context needed for the question. Say whether you want explanation, a plan, or an implementation. A useful review request identifies the change and the evidence you want back.
Return to your work
Conversation drafts stay with their conversations. Switching workspace modes preserves the mounted workspace state, so you can inspect code and return to the discussion.
Desktop conversation history is stored locally. Signing into the same OverMCP account on another computer does not currently synchronize your threads or project files.
